This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Financial Cryptography, FC 2001, held in Grand Cayman, British West Indies, in February 2001.The 20 revised full papers presented together with various panel statements and one invited paper were carefully selected during two rounds of reviewing and improvement.
