　　麥積山石窟是一個(gè)歷經(jīng)千年的文化歷史交融遺跡，崖體上分布著密如蜂房的洞窟，洞窟里的塑像與壁畫(huà)都像一幀幀歷史電影畫(huà)面，蘊(yùn)含著豐富的社會(huì)歷史文化。麥積山因山形如麥垛之狀而得名，麥積山石窟作為“中國(guó)四大石窟”之一，被譽(yù)為“東方雕塑陳列館”。 本書(shū)為《麥積山石窟：東方雕塑藝術(shù)陳列館》的英文版，該書(shū)的中文版于2019年由西安出版社出版。本書(shū)是一部介紹石窟藝術(shù)與歷史文化的導(dǎo)覽書(shū)，也是一部敘述文物故事的通俗讀物。本書(shū)以麥積山石窟參觀路線上的精品洞窟為主線，重點(diǎn)呈現(xiàn)麥積山石窟造像藝術(shù)，詳細(xì)介紹麥積山石窟博大精深的歷史文化。把麥積山石窟建筑特色、雕塑藝術(shù)、壁畫(huà)內(nèi)容成功地展現(xiàn)給讀者，讓讀者感受麥積山石窟藝術(shù)的魅力及觀賞價(jià)值，體會(huì)麥積山石窟的輝煌與衰落，同時(shí)激發(fā)讀者對(duì)麥積山石窟的濃厚興趣及期待，促使大眾讀者深度了解麥積山石窟。

　　何洪巖，敦煌研究院麥積山石窟藝術(shù)研究所社會(huì)教育BU主任、文博副研究館員。長(zhǎng)期從事石窟藝術(shù)研究、游客管理與旅游接待講解工作，多次為黨和國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人講解麥積山石窟。曾作為講述人做客央視大型紀(jì)錄片《麥積山石窟》的專題節(jié)目；應(yīng)邀擔(dān)任“甘肅省石窟講解和游客管理高級(jí)研修班”授課老師；多次擔(dān)任天水市講解、導(dǎo)游大賽評(píng)委；榮獲甘肅省旅游“三年翻番與質(zhì)量提升計(jì)劃”先進(jìn)工作者、省直文化系統(tǒng)先進(jìn)工作者、甘肅省絲綢之路申報(bào)世界文化遺產(chǎn)工作先進(jìn)個(gè)人、天水市直屬機(jī)關(guān)工委優(yōu)秀共產(chǎn)黨員等多項(xiàng)榮譽(yù)。 楊香玲，天水師范學(xué)院外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院教授、碩士生導(dǎo)師。研究方向?yàn)榉g學(xué)和英語(yǔ)教學(xué)論?，F(xiàn)主持國(guó)家社科基金項(xiàng)目一項(xiàng)，曾主持國(guó)家基礎(chǔ)教科研項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、高教社英語(yǔ)教改項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、外研社英語(yǔ)教改項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、甘肅省社科聯(lián)項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、甘肅省教育廳教科研項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、甘肅省教育規(guī)劃項(xiàng)目?jī)身?xiàng)、甘肅省天水市科技局社科項(xiàng)目一項(xiàng)等近二十個(gè)科研項(xiàng)目。
