小注:歌詞主要出自約翰?列儂之手。這首歌的真正含義是含蓄地講述歌手的一次“偶發(fā)性艷遇”。歌詞中的Norwegian wood實指當時流行北美的挪威木質家具乃至由其代表的北歐市內裝修風格,也是對住在此種風格房子里的女孩的一種暗喻。英語中,“森林”一詞多半用復數的woods,很少用單數的wood。由此可知,“挪威的森林”其實是出于誤譯。然而臺灣、大陸甚至日本都有志一同把它譯成“挪威的森林”。村上春樹或許是尊重約定俗成,把它用作自己那本描述日本“披頭一代”的小說書名。之后,沿襲用這個詞匯者,族繁不及備載,無法收拾。不過大多數人都覺得,就算是錯,它也錯得很美麗。
